Illustrator and Storyteller

Gaby and Isabelle is a children's book dummy I created based on the relationship between me and my own little sister. The story focuses on the relationship between the two young girls, ages 4 and 6, and how their differences in how they visualize their femininity makes it difficult for them to connect with each other. Having difficultly finding something in common, both of the girls must learn what it means to be a good sister, and find interest in something outside their own world.

I created this story as a dedication to my sister and the adventures we had as little girls. Both exploring our gender expressions and finding the beauty in ones outside of our own.
